Kira has been in the health and wellness field for the past 30 years. Initially completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Fitness and Exercise Science, she has spent time working with clients one on one, developing the Fit to Ride program for Vail Resorts and managing a sports performance business for 1o years. Her experience working with individuals who are working toward a healthy lifestyle is vast. Her comprehensive approach to wellness includes areas such as fitness and movement, nutrition, sleep, rest and recovery, meditation and mindfulness, creativity and joy as well as developing your intuition and connection to body awareness.
In addition to her fitness and nutrition background, Kira completed her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2003 from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This program consisted of 2,355 hours of education and 525 hours of clinical experience. She is board certified with the NCCAOM and a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Colorado. She treats all things that affect the body, mind and spirit. Her initial schooling in TCM focused on physical ailments and conditions, anywhere from chronic pain, acute colds and flus to autoimmune disorders. Her continuing education has focused on the gut microbiome and Five Element theory, which treats the mental and emotion health of her clients. Having an education in both systems gives her a comprehensive approach to addressing complicated issues on all levels.
Kira over the course of her lifetime has walked the talk. Her personal dedication to fitness, nutrition, sleep, meditation and mental health gives her a powerful tool kit. She recognizes the value and difference that paying consistent attention to all of these areas can make. In her opinion, it is worth the effort to prioritize your health and wellness on all levels and it doesn’t have to be an overwhelming process. Kira’s experience working with individuals of all levels of wellness has given her the ability to fine tune how to meet a client with where they are at and show them how to achieve their goals. Her approach and philosophy is “there is never a one size fits all when it comes to your wellness portfolio, it is very bio-individual and needs to be incorporated smoothly into your life”
